This is the
condition of the world. These are not the figures with countable zeroes. These
are the number of mental sufferers increasing per day with the course of time.
It is truly said
that “depression is not a choice but it
is a kind of brain damage.”A
damage in which a person has mental injury .An injury, whose scars cannot be
shown to the world on forefront. It is a serious note of concern that the
mental injuries do not question a person’s
physical strength but it do question a person’s fight with his
conscience. It is a shift from “how it
will work” to “why it is happening”.
One cannot
give a only justified reason for getting
depressed. Depression is the after effects of many consecutive failures and
breakdowns. Depression occurs when the person could not stop something from
happening or he could not do something
because it is out of his hands. Demise of the loved one, emotional
breakdown, loss of job, etc can be one of them but the causes of the depression
has a long list under it. In the tanned pages of literature, this condition is
described as the “the grey drizzle of
horror” by author William Styron. These days can be described as the most
horrible part of someone’s life. Even the journey after death is considered
more dignified in the society than to be under the depression. Society has the
trend to refer every person a mad or a mad hatter if he undergoes any mental
illness. Every mentally tortured person
is not an insane. Even these few words also cannot define this condition of
mind.
These quoted
words of a depressed person can share you at least .1 percent of his pain-
“Do you think I like to
watch myself fall?
In this world of
self-hate, shame and loathe.
So I hide them and put
up a wall,
That is so high and you
will never see my pain and my flaws.”
Depression
is caused by a amalgamation of genetic, biological, psychological, social
disorders etc. It is synonymous to the termites. The society will suggest you
to meditate and medicate but it will just void your existence. According to WHO, mental stroke is more dangerous than the
physical incapacity. Physical injuries can be cured but mental injuries
just riddle a person with his existence. He start questioning his existence. He
starts felling that the world is full of negativity. He becomes so consistent
with his negative thoughts that he finds every positive aspect of his life an
imagination. The one thinks negatively
not because he want to but he is prone to do that. His mind constantly revolves
around an external factor that did not worked in his life. He loses his
hope and thinks that this was the end of his struggling part and take shelter
under his painful thoughts. This creates a suction element in one’s life. If
not cured then a depressed person just sink into these swamps of negativity and
attempts to quit his life. They think that they were not good enough to
accomplish their better conditions.
There is not
a single human being who does not have an encounter with bad times. The
difference between an UN depressed and depressed person is that his thoughts in
his bad times. His way of thinking is the ultimate key to the fulfillment of
task. Elkhart Tole said that –“the
primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about
it.” Both the categories suffer the setbacks but have two ways in the end.
Either one can fight and be the history or one can take the pain and become
lost in the chapters of history. Its completely your choice that you get elevated or depressed. Remember the best
views comes from the peak not from the depression. Your thoughts become your
guide and that guide tells you how to spend your rest of the life.
Stop being
trapped in the icy cold hands of emotions and the dis heartening thoughts. Get
the new way out to face the challenge. Believe, if a problem is there in front
of you then it means it is meant for you. The Almighty has chosen you to find
the solution of that problem. Stare in the eyes of the problem, fight with it
and come out with victories. Ditch the challenges and try to be you. Spend
sometime in a day with yourself to work upon you. Find the WHY factor in
everything you do. It will lighten up the spark in you. Your life will still
not be perfect but I will be. Life is too short to be get depressed and spend
the bulk of days without any productivity. Shut the world up and do whatever
gives you pleasure. Do the tasks that gives you the reason to be counted among
those who are living their life. Do not live to just spend the rest of the
days, live to spark out all the positivist from yourself. Remember if there is
no enemy within then the enemy outside
can do us no harm.
